A Dangerous Man

Year:2010

Genre: Action/Thriller

Runtime: 90mins

Rating: R

IMDB Score: 5.7/10 (343 Votes)

Directors: Keoni Waxman

Writers: Keoni Waxman

Plot: After serving 6 years for a crime he didn’t commit, Shane Daniels is released from jail with an apology from the State of Arizona. Within hours of his freedom, he unluckily bears witness to a cop killing by Chinese mafia

Audio: Pass. There are a few points where the dialog gets real soft and it’s hard to hear what the person said or the talking is happening when there is a gun-fight happening and that’s not good but it’s less than one full hand. The movie does not have a soundtrack that I can think of which I found odd but liked it.

Visual: Pass. First off there are some nakedness in the movie and we all know how much I like that. The funny thing is that people are saying that the chick who gets naked looks real young and you know what that is not true. She does look young but that’s because she is not FAT. She is 5’6-5’9 and very slender. She had the perfect tits for her frame;small and well shaped. Again people she wasn’t FAT. O.K that a side this is a Steven Seagal flick so you can be assured that the movie will have plenty of the following;fighting, gun fights and explosions. There are so many fights in this movie I lost count.

Writing: Pass. I would have passed the writing even if it was so bad I had to give it a Fail Minus just for the this line “Where I come from we fuck cops in the month when we run out of farm animals.” There were some other lines that just made you go WTF! The plot is very similar to every other Seagal movie so you can’t expect writing like you saw in the movie Felon.

Acting: Pass Minus. It stars SEAGAL for fuck-sake you really think the acting is going to be award winning? If so go shoot yourself in the asshole. The rest of the actors I never heard of and will most likely not recall them if I see them in any other projects due to the fact that their acting was not memorable. That’s not to say it was but it just did not stand out.

Ed/Dir: Pass. You can tell they planed out the fight scenes long time in advance because they were shot well, nothing was to in your face or to far away. They used some editor tricks that I don’t know the names of but it conveyed the feel of the person very well.

Final Feelings: This is not anything new by any means but it does have good action in it and sometimes that’s just all you need. Over all the movie passes and is worth a cheap rent.
