Plot: Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.
Gun to your head what do you do?
Audio: Pass Minus. This series has always had issues with audio,not for poor sound-men but because there tends to be whispering and people who have soft voices. Then you have all the screaming and J mans toys going on, it’s just unpleasant for the ears,however,it does work for the movie. No real soundtrack that I can recall, there is from music to set the mood but nothing more than that.
Visual: Pass Plus. Always a lack of tits in these movies and I really want to see Betsy Russells’ milk makers. I know shes in her mid 40s but damn is she holding up well. The things I would do to her….Oh well I should get back on track. With the lack of fun bags a side this movie steps up the blood factor and death factor by about 2. Doesn’t sound like much does it? Well watch this movie and tell me that you didn’t squint your eyes at from the games “events.” It stars off with a fat man ripping his flesh off with a dull knife. If that doesn’t make you say “What the FUCK!” then I would like to know what you have been watching.
Writing: Pass Plus. This series is one of if not the most well written horror series of all time. The whole is a puzzle and you will be trying to figure it out as you watch each other. For those that have not seen any of the other movies in this series and are worried that you will be lost if you were to jump in at this point, don’t be, I mean you will be a little lost as to the whole puzzle but you will understand what is going on in the movie and chances are you will want to watch 1-5 once you watch this one so you can fully enjoy the set. Jigsaw may be dead but the puzzle is far from over.
The writing is so good in this you feel for certain players of the game for a few different reasons. One of them you, if you are anything like me will be glad they died. Others will you just want them to get a slice of justice.

Acting: Pass. The acting as never been the best in this series but is always very watchable. Some of the actors make you feel that they are who they are being paid to be but it does not always seem to be smooth for them. It’s like they are fighting their role(s) instead of embracing them. They had one person that should not have played the role that that person was given because it came off as awkward for him.
Ed/Dir: Pass Plus. Everything about this topic is good. They mixed the flashbacks in so smoothly that you would think that they are part of the current game. The angles used in the film really gave the gore a more sick feel to it.
Final Feelings: Any doubt about this movie not passing? Didn’t think so. Worth a buy for a horror fan and well worth a rent for everyone else.
