Today I bring you an interview with Lee Vervoort who is the writer and director of the movie Gun Town

1) What was the most difficult thing about filming?
A: The weather. It was in the mid 90′s all week.

2) The bar scene was so fun to watch: how fun was it to make?
A: It was very fun to make because I let everyone improv their actions.

3) Were there any injuries on set?
A: I think I broke a nail.

4) Where did the inspiration for this movie come from?
A: It came from my favorite late 70′s and early 80′s horror films.

5) Was the finished product the same as what you wrote or was
there a lot of last minute changes to story and dialog?

A: I’d say 95% was original to the script.

6) What are your plans for future projects?
A: Since this was my first movie, it was a learning experience. So my
future plans are to improve on the quality of my films.

7) What’s the one thing you will take away from this film that you
will never forget?

A: The amazing fact that our re-shoots took place two and a half months
later and you can’t tell it in the film. (oops)

8 ) What made you want to make movies?
A: I enjoyed watching those who entertained me while growing up. Now I want
to return the favor…even if they do get bad reviews.

_3 Random Questions_

1) On a scale of 1-10 how creepy are Pez dispensers?
A: bologna sandwich

2) Is the iPad just an over sized iPhone?
A: Bonanza

3) Bill Hicks vs. George Carlin who is funnier and why?
A: Depends on what day it is.

*Lee did not answer two of my questions and they were: 1) How did the chick who played Shelly get that role? She is the worse actress I have ever seen and I’ve seen Megan Fox movies.  2) You told me in a message that the movie costed around 7K to make. How much of that went to cam work? The cam work was just amazing in the movie. He also did not give any info on who he is or what he does nor did he want to promote any social or non-social website.
